About ASGI

Founded in 2016 the Australian Second Generation Initiative (ASGI) is group of second generation unificationists who are actively working to better the local and national faith communities within Australia and New Zealand. ASGI seeks to accomplish this by focusing its efforts on assisting 2nd Generation navigate their own path through life and assist their development in the area of faith and spirituality in particular. As a group we seek to embody the following values:

  • Respect & care
  • Learning & development
  • Faith & spirituality
  • Choice & integrity
  • Sustainable community

Our Vision

We hope to see a future where 2nd generation can play a pivotal role in forming a model community. One which is made up of true couples and families that are a living embodiment of the core teachings of our true parents.

We seek to develop the traditions we have inherited from our parents and further strengthen and develop our practices and culture and move towards a sustainable ideal community that God intended for everyone to live in.

We hope to raise our future children in a supportive environment of genuine care, trust, and love. In an environment where everyone is encouraged to continually learn and develop as a person and also in their connection to God and become true men and women of integrity.

    Our Objectives

    1. Create a safe space for people to be able to explore their life of faith
    2. Provide clear internal education and support that promotes a Blessing lifestyle
    3. Facilitate the deepening fellowship of 2nd gen both within their respective community and within the extended 2nd gen community

These objectives form the basis of all our activities. Since inception ASGI has played a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of various events which are designed to achieve the aforementioned objectives. These events include but are not limited to regional youth workshops, faith and finance workshops, and Sportsfest.
